SEE Worth seeing

A brick church was newly built in 1989, replacing the former wooden church. The courtyard of the church is surrounded by a fence with a baroque gate, the cemetery has a bell tower, which has survived since the 18th century.

It has been mentioned in written sources as early as the 15th century. For some time there was an agricultural school, later Šaukėnai tuberculosis sanatorium, and after a while, a psychiatric hospital. Most of the park is located outside the hospital, with a mixed layout and the dominant elements of a landscape park.

 River in Lithuania and Latvia. One of the largest rivers flowing through the territory of Lithuania – the third longest river in Lithuania after the Nemunas and the Neris.

On the road Užventis – Ramučiai you can find Beržėnai manor. 2. The manor house, built in the second half of the 19th century, belonged to the counts Čapskis. At one time, the luxurious manor with a neo-Gothic style building is now abandoned. Not suitable for visiting.

There are archaeological materials from the earliest times (Neolithic), as well as later times, reminiscent of the historical evidence of Šatrija, Gaulėnai, Maudžiorai, Luokė areas. Tel.: +370 68249806 (call in advance).
