The Salacgrīva promenade and Slavas aleja (the Alley of Fame)Pragmatisku nolūku vadīti - pasargāt Salacas krastu no erozijas - novada tēvi lēma būvēt promenādi. |

The school trained more than 1,000 sea captains and helmsmen. The exhibition at the museum relates to the operations of the school, as well as the building of sailing ships on the Vidzeme shoreline during the latter half of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century.
