Baltic Coastal Hiking Project

Hiking Route along the Baltic Sea Coastline in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

The Coastal Hiking Route from Tallinn – Riga – Nida village (in LV) has been developed under EST-LAT program project No. 22 "Coastal Hiking Route along the Baltic Sea Coastline in Latvia and Estonia". Lithuania is the only gap for the European long distance route E9 now, and with Lithuania added in the project LLI-448 "Development of Forest trail In Latvia and Lithuania and expanding the Baltic Coastal Hiking route in Lithuania", the Baltic Coastal Route will cover all three Baltic states and will be ca 1419 km long. Project EE-LV00013 objective is to improve accessibility of the Baltic Hiking trails – the Coastal Hiking Trail and the Forest Trail – for different social groups by implementing accessibility and inclusive marketing solutions in the territory of both trails, in Latvia and Estonia
