Section 66. Kulautuva – Vilkija.
Kulautuva has long been known for its pine forests, parks and beach. In 1935, businessman R. Polovinskis built a hotel here with a restaurant, games rooms, tennis courts, playgrounds and fountains. On weekends, by the number of summer residents, which reached 5 thousand, Kulautuva was second only to the Baltic seaside resort of Palanga. The Lithuanian elite, guests from Western Europe, America, Argentina and other countries came to Kulautuva. The microclimate here is especially healthy. Fresh pine air helps to recover from fatigue, stress and regain strength. In Kulautuva, mineral water rich in microelements is extracted from the depths of the earth.
