Good to know! Intercity buses run between Haapsalu and Österby (timetable: www.peatus.ee, www.tpilet.ee). In Haapsalu, you can use water taxi services (www.visithaapsalu.com) to get across to Österby Port. There is a shop and a catering company only in Pürksi village. No accommodation is available in Riguldi so vigorous walkers can go to Elbiku village (another 5 km), the rest can take a bus connecting Riguldi and Elbiku.

Alternatives: This section can be split into two parts and on the first day you can go to Saare (Lyckholm) and spend it birdwatching (trails, tower, wetlands) and getting to know Saare Manor (accommodation, catering).
