Keep in mind! Accommodation needs to be booked in advance in the summer season. The accommodation closest to the border is located 2 km away from it in both directions. The state border along the coastline can be crossed at any time; hikers must always carry valid personal identification documents. There are no services available near the border.

Alternatives: From Šventoji, there is a road (later — a trail) behind the dunes that leads to the state border and can be used in heavy winds.
