Is located just off the Latvian border and forms an integral whole with the nature reserve in the Republic of Latvia.

First mentioned in 1957.

The tree has a circumference of 6.65 m and an oak height of 25 m, which is thought to be over 350 years old.

Was a knight's manor which is first mentioned in 1542.

Roughly 18% of the territory of the nature park is more than 250 meters above the sea level. Here, one can find the highest peak in the Baltic states – (318 m) Suur Munamägi; the deepest lake in Estonia – Rõuge Suurjärv (38 m).

The skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks in Haanja are suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike. Next to the recreation center is a shooting range for biathlon lovers.

Has a total of 18 baskets on a course of almost 2 km. Perfect for more experienced players.
