Not far from the town, the shallow waters of Reiu beach are one of the favourite leisure and picnic spots for summer residents.

Pärnu Bay Golf Links is a versatile golf complex that has five par-3 tracks in addition to an 18-hole course and a driving range for longer or shorter strokes. This is the first links-type course in the Baltic countries with a length of 4,500 to 6,200 m. Estonia's newest course has been recognized as the best golf course in Estonia in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2022 by the World Golf Awards.

An impressive club house stands by the sea, it has saunas for golfers, a shop offering golf equipment, a lounge café, and Golf Restaurant Eagle. The restaurant serves  Nordic interpretation of modern European flavours.

Pine forests on both sides of the Via Baltica highway, with jogging and skiing trails, as well as lots of berries and mushrooms.

From two sightseeing towers you can observe both birds and cows peacefully grazing in the grass. A 600 m walking trail with a sightseeing platform stretches along the sea.

Spend your leisure time and enjoy the sun on the sandy beach near the bay with shallow and warm water or walk along the beach promenade.

A beach park typical to a resort town with lush and green alleys that has been a popular place for walks since 1882.

The pier was built in 1769 on the order of Catherine I; The 2 km long pier is a nice place for walks.

The former fortifications of the fortress are now part of the promenade with a bridge and a park adorned with a fountain. You can enter the Pärnu Old Town through the 17th century Tallinn Gate (Tallinna Värava).

Tiina Ojaste has opened an outdoor gallery of stone installations next to her cozy home art studio.
She used glacial boulders that surfaced during the creation of her small lake, arranging them carefully into artistic compositions.

The stones found in her yard and around the little lake have been neatly stacked and integrated into the landscape. They are part of Tiina’s home and everyday life. Tiina admires the colors and shapes nature has given these stones. Yet, as an artist, she sometimes feels tempted to rearrange them, to create new combinations and forms — to let her imagination tell a new, fascinating story.
This playful process has given birth to her unique stone installations.

On the initiative of local history enthusiasts and with the support of the local government, the former Pustuski Dairy has been transformed into a comfortable and interesting place to visit. Tools and household products, various furniture and consumer goods, school books, books and various handicraft are all on display. The items have been collected from the surrounding villages of Vaskrääma, Tammuru, Seljametsa, Silla and Paikuse.
