The first church was erected in Kunda in 1904, but was destroyed in a fire. The current church was completed in 1921 according to the designs of architect Ernst Künter.

What makes the church unique is its tower, which is the only one in Estonia where the church bell is not within the tower but outside of it.

Did you know…? Unlike almost all other churches, the Kunda stone church is ‘back to front’ – with the altar to the west and the main door to the east.

The cement museum has been situated in office rooms of old factory since 1967.
Museum introduces the history of Kunda cement factory, cement and concrete production and you can see the contemporary cement production in the form of exciting animation. Interesting experience you can get by walking through Rotary furnace. In a separate room there is the exhibition of hand impresses - famous people of Estonia left their hand impresses in cement. Their impresses left in the museum famous politicians, sportsmen, scientists and celebrities.
