The landscape of this lake-rich area has mosaic relief and vegetation. Here you can enjoy the alternation of dry pine forests, mixed forests, wet forests and wetlands with marvellous views to the lakes. Near the northern part of the lakes you will pass the Pannjärve sandpit (of national importance), where the cross-sections offer great overview of the structure of the drumlins and their formation in the end of last Ice Age.
