The trail from Lohusuu to Rannapungerja runs along the former Lake Peipus coastal dune and the old post road. It passes through Raadna village and crosses the Raadna stream. There are mainly pines growing on the sandy foreland, while on the side of it pine forests alternate with swamp forests. In Kauksi pine forests are predominant, but mixed forest grows on the shores of Kauksi stream. On the sandy northern shore of Lake Peipus there are dunes and coastal pine forests.
