There is a museum working in the castle in Alatskivi, and the old manor granary accommodates a nature centre. The park has a study trail. From Alatskivi towards Kallaste the trail leads through agricultural landscape. There is relatively little forest in this area. Predominant alder or birch forests alternate with spruce forests. Forests are intensively managed.
