On the small tributary of the left bank of the Abava river, there are two waterfalls or rapids, Īvande and Valdāti waterfalls. They are protected geological natural monuments.

The Town Square was renovated in 2019. The building of the former Synagogue features the Sabile art, culture and tourism centre. It was built in 1890 as a synagogue for the Sabile Jewish community and served it until World War II.

The farm plants its first vineyard with 3,500 grapes in 2010. The farm also grows rhubarb, pumpkins and other fruits and vegetables.
