Aegviidu Recreational Depot, which operates as the local information and tourist centre, is located on the Oandu–Ikla hiking trail. We share information about the 65 km hiking trail network in Aegviidu and the entire Kõrvemaa. You can order guided hiking packages and rent sports equipment for hiking. We have saunas and lockers for storing your personal belongings during sports. As an additional option, you can rent a seminar room for smaller groups.Aegviidu Recreational Depot is located at the Aegviidu Railway Station, in a historical 150-year-old locomotive depot that has been renovated. You can get here and back home conveniently by train.

Discover the Clean Water Theme Park at Metsamõisa Farm – a place where you will learn how pure groundwater is formed and why water is the foundation of life.

Here, you don't have to experience nature in a hurry or "consume" it. You can visit calmly and safely – the Sensory Garden's paths with hard surfaces and crushed gravel are suitable for getting around with a wheelchair, walker, walking frame, or cane, and are also comfortable for visitors with strollers.

On a Levikivi trip to nature, we introduce the history here through the stories and legends of local people, and we also talk about Pärt culture in Soomaa.

We go down the old cattle road and the peat-cutting platforms. On our journey, we gain strength from indigenous trees, sit on a rock of laughter and weeping, and see mountain cattle caring for grasslands. In addition to a variety of plant communities, children's favourites - “milestones” introducing wild animals - are also on the hotspot forest trail.

We finish the Matka with herbal tea and berry sweet.

A teepee is a magical place for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.
In our cosy tent, you can spend time with your friends even when it is raining or snowing. A teepee comfortably seats up to 15 people and there is room for 10 people for spending the night.
Bring your own sleeping bag and other comforts to spend the night. A teepee sauna or a hot tub is also available.

This weekend home is in a lovely location near the reservoir of Rugāji.  The owner breeds and processes fish and serves Lettigalian foods.  He also works with local farmers and fishermen.
Latvian cuisine: Smoked fish (carp, Peipus burbot, tench, catfish, bream), canned bream, carp, tench and bream soup, grit porridge with cured meat, home baked rye bread, local cheeses.
Special foods: Tench goulash.
