Restorāns "Pilskrogs"
The restaurant “Pilskrogs” is located in the Livonian Order Castle, which has over 700 years of history. It is set in one of the castle’s halls, which has historically served as a tavern. The design of “Pilskrogs” is in a medieval style, preserving authentic furniture and interior elements. It is a pleasant, warm restaurant with a peaceful atmosphere, where guests can enjoy late breakfasts, lunches (including business lunches), romantic dinners, or simply relax with friends. The restaurant offers not only delicious and high-quality food and drinks but also dishes prepared using ancient Latvian recipes, which our ancestors served at various celebrations throughout the centuries.
The café is accessible for wheelchair users. The toilet inside the café is quite spacious, but it lacks support handles. A disabled toilet is available in the main castle yard; however, accessing it requires passing over a rough cobbled path, which may make it challenging for wheelchair users to reach the door.
