The hotel’s name honors the first Duke of Courland, Gotthard Kettler, who in 1561 established the Duchy of Courland, marking the beginning of a “new era.” Kuldīga is diverse, wonderfully vibrant, and colorful, which is why each Hotel Gothards apartment features unique color accents.
